🚀 What’s New in Your Odoo Environment

We’re excited to introduce the latest updates from the Innovation & Development Team and the Datacenter Development Team — focusing on smarter automation, tighter integrations, and smoother user experiences across accounting, purchasing, and expense management.

🚀 New Features

🔹 Vendor Bank Accounts – New ID/Document Number Field

For Paraguayan banks, a new ID/Document Number field has been added to vendor bank accounts.

This enhancement ensures compliance with local financial data requirements and improves accuracy in vendor payment records.

🔹 Link Vendor Bills to Expense Reports

Approved Vendor Bills of type “Create Vendor Bill” can now be automatically linked to their corresponding Expense Reports.

Additionally:

• The currency of the vendor bill is automatically aligned with the expense report currency to ensure consistency.
• A computed Outstanding Balance field has been added, providing real-time visibility into pending amounts.

✨ Improvements

⚙️ Approvals Flow – Payment Status and Vendor Bill Visibility

The Approvals module has been refined for better financial tracking and cleaner UI:

• Payment Status is now displayed on all Advance Requests of type “Create Bill”, giving accountants better insight into payment progress.
• The Vendor Bill Smart Button will now be hidden when no vendor bills are linked, reducing unnecessary visual clutter.

🎨 Improved Styling for PDF Reports

All system-generated PDF reports have received a styling update, improving readability and visual consistency across modules.

🧩 GitHub Integration Enhancements

We’ve strengthened our GitHub integration to streamline developer workflows:

• You can now create GitHub Pull Requests directly from Odoo Tickets, speeding up the development-to-review process.
• Synchronization between Odoo and GitHub has been optimized for faster updates and more reliable status tracking.
